Twelve quick questions to estimate your dominant dosha — Vata, Pitta or Kapha. It takes about two minutes and needs no sign-up.
Educational tool, not a diagnosis. This quiz estimates your tendencies from self-reported traits. A qualified Ayurvedic physician assesses your constitution (Prakriti) and current imbalance (Vikriti) far more precisely, including by pulse diagnosis. Read our medical disclaimer.
Each question describes three common tendencies, one for each dosha. Choose the option that has been most true for you over a long period (not just this week). Your answers are tallied into a Vata, Pitta and Kapha score. Most people show one or two leading doshas; scores that are close suggest a dual constitution.

It gives a useful starting estimate from self-reported traits, but it cannot match an Ayurvedic physician's assessment, which includes pulse diagnosis and a review of your current state of balance.
Your natural constitution (Prakriti) is considered fixed from birth, but your current imbalance (Vikriti) shifts with diet, stress, season and age. A quiz taken during a stressful period may lean towards Vata, for example.
That suggests a dual-dosha constitution (such as Vata-Pitta), which is very common. Guidance for both applies.
