Not Medical Advice

Everything on AyurvedicTrip.com — articles, guides, condition and therapy pages, FAQs, quizzes and assessments — is for general information and education. It is not medical advice and does not create a doctor–patient relationship between you and AyurvedicTrip.com or any physician named on the site.

In an Emergency

If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Do not delay or avoid seeking medical care because of anything you have read here. Symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness or numbness, a sudden severe headache, heavy bleeding, loss of bladder or bowel control, or thoughts of harming yourself need urgent help.

Ayurveda Complements, It Does Not Replace

Ayurvedic treatment can help manage symptoms and support well-being for many people, but it does not replace emergency care, surgery for structural problems, or disease-modifying treatment (for example for autoimmune disease or diabetes). Never stop or change prescribed medication without your own doctor's advice.

Individual Results Vary

Descriptions of therapies, programs and durations are general. How you respond depends on your health, history, constitution and the quality of the care you receive. We do not promise cures or specific outcomes.

Herbs, Supplements and Interactions

Herbal products are active substances. They can interact with prescription medicines, may be unsafe in pregnancy and breastfeeding, and quality varies between products. Always tell your doctor and any Ayurvedic practitioner about everything you take. See our herbs guide for the main cautions.

Costs, Visas and Travel Information

Prices on this site are indicative and based on public information reviewed on the date shown. Visa and entry rules change and depend on your nationality; always confirm them on the official Indian e-Visa portal or with your nearest Indian embassy or consulate before booking non-refundable travel.

What 'Medically Reviewed' Means

Where a page states that it has been medically reviewed, it means a qualified BAMS, MD (Ayurveda) physician has checked the general information on that page for accuracy at the date shown. It does not mean the page is personal medical advice. Read how this works in our editorial policy.

Treatment is delivered by independent doctors and centres. We cannot guarantee their services, and links to other websites are provided for convenience without endorsement. Check any provider's credentials yourself using the steps in our 15-point checklist.
