Who We Write For

AyurvedicTrip.com helps people understand Ayurvedic treatment and plan medical travel to Kerala, India. Our readers are travellers and patients, many of them researching a health condition. We write plainly, explain limits honestly and avoid hype.

Our Process

  • Research. We start from primary and authoritative sources — government portals and regulators, professional bodies, peer-reviewed research and classical Ayurvedic principles — and note which is which.
  • Drafting. Pages are drafted by our editorial team. We may use software tools, including AI-assisted drafting, to prepare first drafts; people are accountable for every published page.
  • Medical review. A BAMS, MD (Ayurveda) physician reviews pages that give health information. A page carries the 'Medically reviewed' label only after that review, and the date shown is the review or last-checked date.
  • Source check. Rules we cannot verify ourselves (such as visas) link to the official source and are dated. Cost figures are labelled indicative.
  • Publishing. Pages are checked automatically for broken links, valid structured data and unique titles before release.
  • Updating. Time-sensitive pages (costs, visas, seasonal guides) are reviewed at least quarterly; we change a page's date only when its content actually changes.

Who Reviews Our Medical Content

Our medical reviewers are Dr. Nirmal P Raj and Dr. Chanthni Nirmal, both BAMS, MD (Ayurveda), at Santhwana Siddha Clinic, Chalachal Siddha Varma Vidhyashala. See our doctors for details. Reviewers check general medical accuracy; they do not give personal medical advice through this website.

How We Treat Evidence and Claims

  • We separate traditional claims (what Ayurvedic texts and practitioners hold) from research findings (what studies show), and say when evidence is small or mixed.
  • We do not promise cures. We state what a therapy can and cannot do, and when to see a conventional doctor first.
  • We avoid before-and-after claims we cannot substantiate, and we do not publish testimonials we cannot verify.
  • For safety topics — herbs, interactions, pregnancy, children, serious conditions — we err towards caution.

Sources We Prefer

  • Government and regulatory bodies (for example the Ministry of AYUSH, the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, India's e-Visa portal, Kerala Tourism).
  • Accreditation and quality bodies (for example NABH).
  • Peer-reviewed research and reputable health institutions.
  • Classical Ayurvedic principles, clearly labelled as traditional knowledge.

Images

Images are licensed stock photographs or illustrations and are used to illustrate topics. They do not show our patients, and we do not use images to imply results.

Independence

We do not accept payment to change the medical content of a page. If a page ever includes sponsored or partner material, it will be clearly labelled. When we mention accreditation or classification schemes, we explain what they mean and do not rank individual centres without disclosed criteria.

Corrections

If you find an error, please tell us via our contact page or WhatsApp +91 62385 77759. We investigate promptly, correct confirmed errors, and update the page's date. Material corrections to health information are noted on the page.
